Wallet access and private data
What can I use to open a wallet?
The interface supports a Solana private key in supported Base58 or seed formats, a BIP39 recovery phrase with a derivation path, and a Solana JSON secret key represented as a byte array.
Can one recovery phrase open more than one Solana account?
Yes. A recovery phrase can be the root of an HD wallet. Different account indexes or derivation paths can produce different Solana addresses from the same phrase.
Does a JSON secret key open several accounts?
A standard Solana JSON keypair normally represents one Ed25519 keypair and therefore one Solana address. It is not normally an HD-wallet seed that derives a list of accounts.
Why can the same recovery phrase show a different address in another wallet?
Different wallet software may use different derivation paths or account indexes. To reproduce an address, the phrase, optional BIP39 passphrase, derivation path and account index must match.
Balances, tokens and transactions
Which network does the wallet use?
The wallet is configured for Solana Mainnet. RPC endpoints are checked against the Mainnet genesis hash before direct use.
Which tokens are shown?
The wallet scans token accounts under the standard SPL Token program and Token-2022 and shows positive balances returned by the connected Mainnet RPC.
Can every Token-2022 asset be sent?
No. Token-2022 supports optional extensions. Some assets can require extra program-specific accounts or transfer logic, so a balance can be visible even when a standard transfer is not sufficient.
Why can transaction history take longer than the SOL balance?
History requires more blockchain queries. The wallet first discovers signatures associated with the address and then loads transaction details, while the native SOL balance is available from a simpler account query.
Security and persistence
Does FAR COAST LTD hold my SOL or private key?
No. The application is designed as non-custodial software. The operator does not receive a private key for the purpose of signing transactions and cannot restore private data that the user loses.
Why does the wallet remain open after I restart the browser?
The current wallet seed is encrypted in browser storage so the same browser profile can restore the session. Use Exit to remove the saved wallet record.
Does browser encryption make the wallet safe from malware?
No. Storage encryption helps protect data at rest, but malicious code executing in the browser or on the device can still be dangerous while private material is being used.
What happens if every RPC endpoint is unavailable?
The wallet cannot reliably read blockchain state or broadcast a new transaction until at least one compatible Mainnet RPC route becomes reachable. Your private key remains local, but network-dependent features will not work.
